7. myself (of course!)
So this could be the return of the magnificent 7 – albeit we are not purporting to be cowboys ! As in those western classics, we feel as if we have departed on what right now seems to be a mission where all the odds are stacked against us, but we are confident of success!
We recognise that the Advisory Board as it currently stands has a ‘gender balance’ issue. However, I can assure you we are intent on redressing this sooner rather than later.
I was certainly excited by the level and breadth of discussion that took place at the first meeting of the Advisory Board. There was a very healthy critique of our draft strategy and re-examination of the focus of the centre. We have come away with a number of tangible actions that our project manager, namley Keith Bohanna is currently developing further and will report back to the next meeting of the Advisory Board scheduled to take place during the Kilkenny Arts Festival. I will keep you posted……
Sean.
